St. Ignatius is located in the Jones Falls watershed in Baltimore and has had an active green team for years. They have hosted movie nights, Climate in the Pulpits, Earth Day events, conducted a trash cleanup with St. Vincent de Paul Catholic church. They also hosted robust multi-week study of Pope Francis' encyclical Laudato Si'. Their team has planted trees and is working on eliminating all paper waste from the parish by implementing a program to introduce compostable paper cups, plates, and utensils to all parish functions.
