Seekers Church is “a diverse, progressive, and affirming family of faith working for peace and justice. We celebrate and welcome people of all races, sexual orientations, gender identities, beliefs, and cultures to full participation in the church’s community life, rituals, and leadership. We believe God calls each person to a place of need in the world. At the heart of the Seekers community are small, committed groups that support the life and goals of the church and each participant. In these groups, members share more intimately their joys and struggles, practice common spiritual disciplines, and find spiritual accountability. These hallmarks of Seekers’ life together are part of our tradition from Church of the Saviour.”

One of these small groups at Seekers is the Earth & Spirit Mission Group, which is “called to support deeper spiritual connection with God through experience with the natural world. ...We are called to reflect on, act for, and experience nature through both individual engagement and corporate mission.”

Some of the ways Earth & Spirit does this are by offering nature walks/hikes, environmental film discussions, environmental advocacy, stream clean-ups, and  camping fellowship opportunities to experience the wildness and healing power of God’s Creation.
